  2. Education, Teaching Experience • B.A. University of Southern Miss • M.Ed. William Carey University • Ph.D. (In progress!!) University of Southern Miss • Past teaching experience: Pass Christian School District, 2 years

  3. My mother is a Special Education teacher at Long Beach High School and coach of the LBHS Swim Team. She also teaches swimming lessons to elementary students in the summer.

  4. My father and brother work together for an HVAC company. My brother Ronnie and I are very close (that’s what happens when you grow up guys—you quit hating your siblings).

  5. My nephew, Grayden, just turned three this August. He’s something else.

  6. Remus, my dog/terrorist, is two years old. Hmm… Remus. Interesting name, right? Have you heard it before?

  7. How is our class run? • Two summers back I was introduced to a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Donna Porter, and her student DJ. Because of this teacher/student duo, I practice a classroom management plan called Conscious Discipline. You’ll learn all about it.
