Session Expectations / Requirements • Types of sessions • Lecture: 60 or 120 minutes, lecture-style, including audience Q&A • Hands-on Labs: 60 or 120 minutes • Demos: 60 minutes • Birds of a Feather: 60 minutes, multiple-perspective session presented with a moderator guiding the speakers, including audience Q&A • Customer testimonial: 60 minutes • Note: NDA sessions are accepted, but please keep in mind that there will be customers present. High calibre/well-known speakers … clients, analysts, industry experts … to own a session or series of sessions Invite anIBM client toco-deliver the session with you Use presentation template and submit presentationson time 12

Speaker Funding • Any primary speaker doing 4 or more sessions will get tuition waived • Some speakers may be eligible to also get T&L, but they have to do at least 4 sessions, no exceptions! • Any primary speaker doing only 1 or 2 sessions will get a day pass at no cost; if they want to stay the whole week we will offer a discounted tuition rate of $1295 • Co-speakers may be eligible for a day pass • Encourage your client to take a bigger part in Edge2014 as a speaker. All accepted client speakers who deliver one unique, 60-minute session will receive a full conference pass (a $2295 value).
