The CSA and You Working Together
Who are we? • The College Student Alliance (CSA) is a member-driven organization, representing student governing bodies at colleges throughout Ontario. • The CSA is the only collective voice exclusively representing college and college/university students in Ontario. This enables the CSA - and its members - to be represented on nearly every government committee, stakeholder committee, and taskforce relating to postsecondary education. • By developing a partnership approach with all stakeholders on a range of issues; the CSA advocates on behalf of 23 independent councils and more than 109,000 full-time college and college/university students within the province.
Our Key Competencies • We provide a forum for students and member student governing bodies to address key issues and gain influence on both a provincial and federal level. • We provide a coordinated, collective voice on issues that impact college and college/university students provincially and federally. • We provide an opportunity for member organizations to network, develop competencies, and discuss issues related to individual student governments. • We encourage and provide the resources to help student governments share information. • We develop and deliver services and programs that benefit college students and their associations.
