  3. Who We Are We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our students’ school experience. Our purpose is to build a strong working relationship between families, teachers and schools. The PTO serves as the connective link between the school and the families of its students. We help keep parents informed, raise funds to provide supplemental educational resources, provide opportunities for parents to volunteer and get involved, and work with other PTOs in South Brunswick for the betterment of the community at large.

What We Do Events/Activities Sponsor the Agendas for all students Sponsor prizes for the three PATTERNS assemblies and host the PATTERNS picnic Sponsor Author Visits Provide additional support to schools – eg. Sponsor stage lighting and sound systems for the auditorium, build GaGa pits, etc Major Fundraisers Book Fair – twice/year Spiritwear Online sales – twice/year PTO Table – at Back-to-School Night Order forms – throughout the year Lockershelves – PTO Table @BTSN and Order forms – year round

  5. What We Do (contd.) Support our teachers Provide funding for supplemental classroom resources/programs, as needed, through Mini Grants Sponsor lunch/dinner for staff at various times through the year as an appreciation for all their efforts Sponsor/support community building ideas, eg. Pantene Beautiful Lengths Community and charitable events Conduct Holiday Food drives for the South Brunswick Food Pantry Pantene Beautiful Lengths

  6. Join Us PTO membership is $10 per family Being a member all three years also allows your child to apply for our scholarship program in their Senior year of High School!

How you can help • Show your spirit by purchasing school spiritwear • Shop the Book Fairs • Sign up for Stop & Shop A+ Rewards- A percentage of your purchase goes to the PTO • Sign up for AmazonSmile- A percentage of all your purchases goes to the PTO • Register at Box Tops for Education • Volunteer to help at PTO Events or Chair a Committee

  8. Stay Informed!
