  3. 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games • Enables a designated ORN • Gives the Olympic Delivery Authority overriding highway/traffic powers • Requires ‘co-operation’ from authorities

ClearWay 2012 workstream strategies Planned works: To schedule utility works ahead of highway works and prior to special controls starting January 2011 for major works Connection works: To inform potential customers to time requests for connections prior to, or after Games Emergency works: To develop traffic-sensitive response procedures for rapid deployment
