Tundra Weather • Long cold winters under 40 degrees Fahrenheit, as low as 50 degrees Celsius. Soil • Almost permanently frozen but fog keeps it unfrozen. Plants • Mosses, grasses, and woody shrubs. Animals • Grizzly bears, rodents, caribou, musk oxen, and snow owls. Where? • Northern most regions of the Earth.
Desert Weather • Does not have enough rain to support trees. Soil • Dry Plants • Cactus Animals • Collared lizard, kangaroo, rat, and ground squirrels. Where? • Toward the middle latitudes.
Grassland Weather • Moderate rainfall. (50-90cm. per year) Soil • Lots of burrows, soft. Plants • Grass Animals • Bison, gazelle, wild horses, and zebra. Where? • Toward the middle latitudes.
