This was the Dominique Wilkins era and subsequently were fairly popular. The yellow outline along the red base color adds a nice complement to the overall aesthetics. The yellow numbers also add a nice touch. The font of the numbers are unusual however. Rather than having a "boxy" number they have sharp edges as well as curvatures. This type of font is rarely used. The yellow stripe along the neck line is also a nice touch. There's no third color on the jersey....the Hawks colors were red, yellow, and white....so the scheme is pretty straight forward.
