  1. Bugs Bunny By Elmer Fudd [Hello! Please plug some of your info into these slides. Replace Bugs Bunny with your Famous Person. Replace Elmer Fudd with your name. These slides give your classmates something to look at when they listen to your report. That means they won’t be staring at you. Your quiz is the most important thing in these slides. It gives your audience FOCUS. Your report does not go into these slides. You get time to work on these slides at school if you meet your report deadlines. That is when you and your classmates will get to CUSTOMIZE your slides your way. This is when you may want to use a flashdrive that you bought in the fall.]

  2. Vocabulary Words from My Paper • Carrots: They are orange veggies that Bugs Bunny loves to eat. [This is where you list 7 important words with definitions. You list them first in your report, then copy them here. Remember list words that you USED in your report. They might not all fit on this slide and Mr. Kroening can help you with that. When you do your presentation you will let your audience read these definitions for themselves. When they are done you’ll show the next slide.]

  3. Questions for my Listeners • How does Buggs Bunny say hello? [Copy from your report to here your three quiz questions - no less, but more is welcome. Remember, your classmates must get the answers from listening to your report. You cannot ask them questions about things you did not write for them. You will read these questions to your audience. Then you will stop on this slide and read to the class the paper in your hand that has your prepared report. Your audience will then be excited to learn about your famous person. Remember DO NOT show the class your next slide until you have finished reading your report and given your classmates a chance to guess the answers to your quiz.]

  4. Answers to my Opening Questions • “What’s up Doc?” is how Buggs Bunny says hello. [You will be very proud when you get to this part of your presentation. You show this when you are done reading your report paper. You reveal this slide to let your classmates know if their guesses to your questions are correct. After that, your classmates may have a couple questions for you about your famous person. One more thing: your classmates must take notes on these answers because Mr. Kroening copies one question from each famous person and puts each into a Famous Person Test after all the presentations are done. The Famous Person Test is scheduled for March 21. Good luck. Have fun.]
