November Dates and Events! 1st – Business Meeting 5th – Angel League 6th – Concession Stand @ AHS Track Field 8th – Kiwanis Luncheon, Cards for Children’s Miracle Network, Candy Sales $ Due 12th – Angel League Banquet 15th – Business Meeting, MEMBERSHIP DUE 22nd –Thanksgiving Day 29th – Kiwanis Luncheon, Service Meeting December 1 - Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

  5. Reed Elementary Fall Festival • What : Fall Festival; Independent Service Opportunity • Where: At Reed Elementary from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m • Who: Looking for volunteers that will run games and sell food • When: Friday November 2nd • Contact Katie Chong; katie_chong@allenisd.org to sign up

  6. Angel League Who: Disabled children What: Play baseball with disabled children Where: Allen Station Park on Cedar St. Softball fields #1 and #4 When: Monday November 5th 6-7 PM and 7-8 PM 1 signup sheet for regular weekly volunteers and 1 signup sheet for extra volunteers that week

  7. Concession Stand • Who: 8 Key Club Members • What: Working the concession stand • Where: AHS Track Stadium • When: Tuesday November 6th at… Shift 1: 4:45PM – 6:45PM (3 Members only) Shift 2: 6:45PM – 9:15PM (5 Members only)

  8. Kiwanis Luncheon • Who: 4 – 5 Key Club Members • What: Lunch with Kiwanis of Allen • Where: Twin Creeks Golf Club • When: Thursday November 8thfrom 11:45AM – 1:15PM ***Bring $10 for lunch ***Need own ride

  9. Kiwanis Sophomore of the Year Scholarship • What: Kiwanis Sophomore of the Year Scholarship • Who: Sophomore Key Clubbers may apply • Where: Application found in Naviance under the “Colleges” tab. Look at Scholarships to find it. • When: Deadline is Wed., November 7 • Questions: College and Career Center

  10. Candy Sale Update Money due November 8th!Must have exact bills $67 = 3-$20’s, 1-$5, and 2-$1’s

  11. Next week’s service will be making cards for children at the Children’s Hospital in Dallas! 
