  2. Objectives Our project is about community service in Detroit. • Increase volunteerism and awareness in Detroit.

  3. Audiences For The Project • Primary • Elizabeth Gordon Sachs, the founder and president of Greening of Detroit. • Maria C. Esperanza, the director of public relations for Greening of Detroit. • Secondary - Volunteers

  12. Tasks Remaining • Research • More research to be done on the solutions part • Finish Research about incentives to attract volunteers to come to events • Research about ways to make the volunteering experience safer

  13. Tasks Remaining 2. Survey • Survey is to be finished by at least 30 people • Survey results should be analyzed • Use the survey results to help improve the solutions of the project

  14. Tasks Remaining 3. Interviews • Two interviews • Analyze the interviews • Use the interviews to construct some solutions for the project and find supporting points for the formal proposal discussion.

  15. Tasks Remaining 4. Formal proposal • Collect all the information to be added to the final report • Edit the results of research • Divide the report into different sections • Start writing each section and adding the gathered information to it.

Team Qualifications: • Amani She has enough background information about Community Service in Detroit to write the introduction. • Dalal She had some bad experience with community service before ,so she has experience with providing solutions to the project problem. • Yousef He has experience with data analysis so he is eligible to do the results part. • Jacob He has experience with formatting papers and compiling information , therefore he is doing the conclusion part.

  21. Team Collaboration • We haven’t had any issues with team collaboration. We have all been getting along great. • We always divide the assignments into four parts and assign work fairly as a team decision. • All team members get together a week prior to the assignment due date for editing.

  22. Possible Solutions • Creating social networking accounts • Creating online volunteer registration forms • Creating incentives for volunteers • Food, Shirts, extra • Creating a safer volunteering environment • Set up something with local police to send a squad car to watch over the event.
