Chargualaf Petty Officer Chargualaf was born in Tamuning, Guam and graduated from Monmouth Regional High School in 1988. He entered the U.S. Navy in March 1991. Petty Officer Chargualaf graduated basic training and Machinist Mate ‘A’ School in Great Lakes, Illinois. His first duty assignment was on board USS Mahan (DDG 42) in Charleston, South Carolina. Other assignments include USS LaSalle (AGF 3), USS Wasp (LHD 1), Resolute (AFDM 10), USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Recruit Training Command Great Lakes as a Company Commander, USS Frank Cable (AS 40) Maintenance Support Detachment and Naval Education and Training Command, N7 Division. Petty Officer Chargualaf’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (three awards), Enlisted Surface Warfare Insignia and the Master Training Specialist designation.
