World Golf Hall of Fame The mission of the Hall of Fame is to honor and celebrate the world’s greatest players and contributors to the game. Each year, the World Golf Hall of Fame inducts a new class of members in an evening ceremony on the museum’s grounds at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida. The event is attended by Hall of Fame members, its Board of Directors,the family and friends of the Inductees, sponsors, representatives of golf’s major organizations, and members of the media and the golf industry. It is broadcasted the same evening on Golf Channel. In 2011, the Ceremony moves to May and will mark the beginning of PLAYERS Championship week with two days of festivities.

The 2011 Induction Ceremony Weekend Schedule Sunday Night May 8, 2011 5:30pm – 6:00pm – Commissioner’s Reception Select guests, sponsors, Hall of Fame members and Inductees are invited to attend this reception immediately prior to the evening’s events. 6pm - 6:30pm – Night of Legends Cocktail Reception All invited dinner guests are invited to attend this pre-event reception prior to the Night of Legends Dinner at the Renaissance Resort in the St. Johns County Convention Center. 6:30pm - 9pm – Night of Legends Tribute Dinner This special evening, which includes a cocktail reception and seated dinner for approximately 400, is held in honor of all returning members of the World Golf Hall of Fame, as well as the new class of Inductees.
The 2011 Induction Ceremony Monday May 9, 2011 6pm - 10pm – World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Gala The world will be watching as the newest members of the Hall are inducted in an evening ceremony attended by the public followed by a Grand Gala in the museum for Hall of Fame members, sponsors and invited guests. The ceremony is approximately 90 minutes in length and is followed by the Gala, which features a buffet dinner reception and open bar. The Golf Channel airs the ceremony the same night with replays.
World Golf Hall of Fame Pavilion at THE PLAYERS Monday May 9 – Sunday May 15, 2011 World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Exhibit & Hospitality Pavilion • The Hall of Fame is partnering with the PLAYERS Championship to create a public pavilion on Hole #16 which will be a featured element of tournament week , May 9-15. • It is estimated that 130,000 fans will attend during the week. • The museum is creating a special Induction display which will include photography, graphics and select artifacts honoring the Class of 2011. • The Pavilion, which will include seating, cash bar, and television coverage of the tournament, will be open to the public during tournament hours Monday – Sunday, and is available for sponsor-only hospitality during select times. • Sponsors will receive level-appropriate recognition within Induction exhibit.
Hospitality Opportunities The 2011 Hall of Fame Induction Golf Outing Monday May 9 8:30am Sponsors and supporters have the opportunity to be part of this exclusive golf outing at the Slammer & Squire at World Golf Village the morning of the Induction ceremony, which will serve as a major fundraising component of the weekend. A three-some of golfers will play with a Hall of Fame member during the outing which includes: • Breakfast at Slammer & Squire Clubhouse & post-golf lunch • Commemorative photos & gift bag Potential Hall of Fame members may include Gary Player, Curtis Strange, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Tony Jacklin, Nancy Lopez, Larry Nelson, and Lanny Wadkins. Package also includes VIP tickets to Induction & Gala, Night of Legends dinner and Commissioner’s Reception. $30,000 per group of three
