I love working with young people and truly believe that all students can be successful when they believe in themselves. My goal is to help students discover their strengths and talents, guide them as they develop their skills, and build an enthusiasm for learning so they can independently achieve beyond their wildest dreams. My family is my world. I grew up on the beaches in southwestern Michigan where I met my husband, John. We lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin (Go Packers!) for ten years before making North Carolina our home. We love sports and enjoy spending time with our adult children who all live in the Raleigh area. John Jr., Matt, and Stephanie all graduated from North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) We were blessed when Drew became part of our family. He graduated from North Carolina Central University where he played basketball and met his beautiful wife Andria. (Go Eagles!)
