  5. Factors that affect housing variation Age: Newer buildings tend to be on the outskirts of the city Type: Inner city homes are high-density and smaller then those outside of the city Quality: Public – V – Private housing

Traffic Congestion • This is due to the large amount of commuters moving in and out of cities for work • There are various ways to improve traffic congestion including: • Bus Services • Railways and Trainways (DART and LUAS) • Metro (underground rail) • Ring Roads • Motorways • One-way traffic systems
