Growing Your Gift • Meditate on your gift • Give careful thought to your gift • Our gift is not to be a “sideline” activity • Give yourself wholly to your gift • Be completely absorbed / engrossed in your gift • Put your heart and soul into your gift • Progress in the use of your gift • Move forward, blaze the way with your gift • Let your gift be manifest, evident before all
Growing Your Gift • Take heed to yourself • Your private habits, thoughts and character • Don’t neglect yourself while pursuing your gift • Take heed to your teaching • Your teaching controls your gift (see v.12-13) • Your gift must be controlled by God’s word • Continue in your gift • Keep your gift active and continual • Find ways to improve your gift
Growing Your Gift • Save yourself and others • Faithful use of gifts is a salvation matter • Save yourself with your own gift, save others with their gifts – practice what you preach (Ac. 1:1; 1 Cor. 9:27)
