Protein Kinase A AKAP: A kinase anchoring protein
Termination of beta adrenergic signaling pathway: • Epinepherine concentration is lowered. • GAP activity of Gs alpha (GTP converted to GDP) • cAMP phosphodiesterase • Phosphorylation of beta-adrenergic receptor -kinase is beta-adrenergic receptor kinase(BARK) -also known as G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 • Association of phosphorylated beta-adrenergic receptor with arrestin. This is followed by receptor endocytosis.
