What is EURES? • A network linking public employment services across Europe to provide an international jobcentre service • Jobcentre Plus as the British public employment service is part of the EURES network • Funded by the European Commission • Launched in November 1994
EURES offers • An easy way to find information on jobs and learning opportunities throughout the EEA • Advice about living and working in EEA countries • A human network of more than 700 EURES advisers across Europe • The EURES job mobility portal

Search for a job • Search through the European vacancy database of over 900,000 vacancies • Search by country/region, occupation and keywords • The vacancies cover a wide range of occupations and include permanent and seasonal job opportunities. Living and Working • The database contains contains information on a number of important issues such as finding accommodation, finding a school, taxes, the cost of living, health, social legislation, and comparability of qualifications. • You can also view Labour Market Information.
