The early Christian Church grew rapidly as a result of constant persecution. 4. Philip was the first disciple to convert Gentiles. 5. Cornelius and a vision convince Peter that Gentiles should be baptized.

  2. Chapter 7 continued. • 6. Paul begins his missionary journey from Antioch. • 7. Barnabas and John Mark traveled with Paul on his first missionary journey. • 8. Silas and Timothy accompanied Paul on his second missionary journey. • 9. Agabus warned Paul that he would be imprisoned during his third journey. • 10. Paul was imprisoned for 2 years in Rome and eventually was killed.
