Objectives • To develop freely available, open-access, web-based e-resources for Ayurvedic teachers and professionals, with a focus on integrating Ayurveda, oriental sciences and contemporary sciences • To develop high quality Ayurvedic peer-reviewed e-content in the form of E-books, slide presentations, video lectures, audio lectures/ audio books, interactive tutorials, quizzes, digitized manuscripts, curricula and other documents • To develop such resources that are also oriented at professionals in allied and contemporary mainstream disciplines so that they may get motivated to work in the field of Ayurveda
Targets visualized • The content will be developed with a focus on the basic domain knowledge, advanced domain knowledge, and, the prospects for future research in the field • Clinical, applied and case-based content on Ayurveda Physiology, Ayurveda diagnostics, Ayurveda therapeutics including bedside clinical case discussions • Practical application of the domain knowledge will receive maximum emphasis. • The techniques of administration of Panchakarma, KsharaSutra etc. will be demonstrated via suitable media. • 25 e-books, 100 Videos, 100 Articles / Lecture Notes, 50 Audio Lectures, 25 Quizzes and thousands of links to other recourses

Work done………. • Selection of 50 experts from specific specialties of Ayurveda • In each subject, mostly two experts from main Ayurveda discipline and one from allied discipline of modern biomedical stream • Experts from relevant disciplines subjects (Applied Arts, Statistics, Library and Sanskrit) • Correspondences for consent and acceptance is in pipe line.

Editorial Board • Preferably younger generation of experts • Conversant with digital platforms • Will be the helping hands for preparing the final form of contents to be uploaded (proofreading/editing etc) • Looking after the website/ layout
Infrastructure Development/Personnel Recruitment / SBN Establishmentis in progress • Due to the superannuation of the Principal Investigator – Prof . M. Sahu, The then dean, Faculty of Ayurveda, the position of Principal Investigator is not clear. Clarification has been sought. • There was a delay in communication of release of funds from MHRD (Sanctioned dated the 6th September, 2016 and communication received in Nov. 2017) • Approval of prioritized break-up of budget – in pipeline • Purchasing will begin as soon as the budget is approved
