Task Forces Exchange of Information (JASDEC) New Business Initiative (KSD) Technical (NSDL) Legal (SD&C) Objective of ACG12 To encourage full representation to the Task Forces from the ACG membership so that all ACG members are fully aware and actively participated in all areas of discussion.

    7. Exchange of Information Task Force (JASDEC) Convener - Mr Nishimukai Kazuhiro Terms of Reference Administer and maintain surveys of ACG members’ securities market conditions Organise the ACG Cross Training Seminar Study of permanent secretariat

    8. New Business Initiative Task Force (KSD) Convener - Mr Lee Jong-Hyung Terms of Reference Diverse businesses of CSD Organise the ACG Cross Training Seminar

    9. Technical Task Force (NSDL) Convener - Mr Samar Banwat Terms of Reference Use of mobile technology in providing depository services To study the mechanics of cross-border linkages

    10. Legal Task Force (SD&C) Convener - Ms Niu Wenjie Terms of Reference Consulting documents and research reports on core legal framework of CSD safe running Analysis reports on CSD legal foundations of member markets Represent ACG to attend UNIDROIT conference

ACG Cross Training Seminar Host: Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) Date: Friday, 3rd July and Saturday, 4th uly 2009 Venue: Dhaka, Bangladesh Programme Comparison of depository models Issuer services CSD’s legal protection in case of participant insolvency Legal issues and implications raised by UNIDROIT convention Collateral management Impact of the world financial crisis on the market and CSD's action

Participation in UNIDROIT ACG attend and participate as the observer for Final session of the diplomatic Conference to adopt a Convention on Substantive Rules regarding Intermediated Securities in Geneva on 5 – 7 October 2009 Led by Ms Niu Wenjiu, Legal Task Force Convener (SD&C) together with Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC)
