  2. Information Slide #1 • Date that they were born and date that they died (if applicable) • Lived/Raised in what city/state/country? • Did they have a family of their own? • Did your artist/band have a higher education (beyond 12th grade)? • Did they pursue another career in addition to music?

  3. Information Slide #2 Use this slide to outline a few points about your artist • What time period did they write and perform in? • What instruments did they play? • What are some of their most popular songs (name 2 or more songs)?

  4. Information Slide #3 • When did they begin making music (if it’s a band, specify when the band started playing together and also when each member pursued music)? • Did anyone inspire or guide them? If so, who were they and how did they help them? • Has your artist inspired any other musicians?

  5. Information Slide #4 • Did your artist face any struggles growing up? • What struggles did they face during their career as a musician? • Did they overcome these obstacles? • If yes, how did they overcome them? Give at least one example • What makes your artist admirable (or not)?
