What is UNH Precision Racing? • A team dedicated to the construction of a small-scale, open-wheeled, formula-style race car to compete in the annual F-SAE event. • 10th most popular recognized student organization at UNH. • 40 members last year.
What is F-SAE? • Competition held in Michigan • Hosted by Society of Automotive Engineers • Sponsored by Ford, GM, and Daimler/Chrysler • 120 diverse schools competed last year, including schools from: • Japan • Singapore • Germany • Australia
Dynamic Braking Skidpad – 50 pts Acceleration – 75 pts Autocross – 150 pts Endurance (22 laps, 1km/lap) – 300 pts Fuel economy – 100 pts Static Design Presentation – 150 pts Marketing Presentation – 75 pts Cost Report – 100 pts What is F-SAE? Not only a racing event but also an engineering event, divided into two categories: Total = 1000 pts
