Lecture 20:Review – ENG17 ENG17 (Sec. 2): Circuits I Spring 2014 June 5, 2014
Overview • Details on the Final • Course Recap • Your Questions / Comments
The Final • TOTAL: 2 hr • ~50min on new material • ~50min on prior material • Similar question format, but adding multiple choice on some • Recall: Final worth 40% of final grade
Overview • Details on the Final • Course Recap • Your Questions / Comments
Course Objectives • Electrical quantities and elements • Resistive Circuits • Transient and steady-state responses of RLC circuits • Sinusoidal excitation and phasors • Complex frequency and network functions • Power Calculations
Overview • Details on the Final • Course Recap • Your Questions / Comments
Q1 • Could you please go over Question 11 homework 9, specifically focusing on how to address the mutual inductance with the ratio N1 and N2? • Addressing this entire question would be helpful :) • can you also explain the ideal mutual inductance and how we can use them
Q2 • What problems are on the test? or just some info about it • Will all the chapters be evenly covered? • In section 10.6 Power Transfer do we have to know cases where Z is restricted?
Q3 • Some examples on dot notation and how it determines polarity.
Q4 • Natural and step responses
Q5 • The analysis of Op Amp of different circuit arrangement rather than the general form we learned during lecture, and prefer examples.
Q6 • can we go over thevinin equivalent circuits • when to use the I_sc method versus the test source technique • and maybe a dependent source example
Q7 • Will we have to know how to use power triangles like in Example. 10.6 from the textbook? If yes, could you please go over how they did part A?
