FOR SOLAR ENERGY 1. Less fossil fuel dependent 2. Helping the environment 3. Cutting down on carbon emissions 4. The sun doesn't “run out” 5. Can be in remote areas AGAINST SOLAR ENERGY 1. Not efficient enough 2. Expensive while value falling 3. Not producing at night 4. Weather and pollution can affect it 5. Hurts businesses to cap carbon emissions Opposing viewpoints
