5. Signage • Keep it short. • Easy to read. • Fits theme.
6. Plan for something unexpected • A “spark” that makes people stop and look. • Vary the heights and depths. • Don’t line things up in straight rows.
7.Elements & Principles of Design • Color, shape, line and texture • Use variety & harmony • Balance, Proportion, Emphasis, Rhythm – - pull the eye through the display
8. Details • Hide pins, staples, tape, etc. • Check that everything is clean, including glass. • Double check spelling on signage
