We will also have a review over chapters 1-4 as well. Grammar: Present Tense Verbs -adding s to end of verbs Writing: Writing to a Prompt -We will complete a monster writing activity. Homework: AR should be done nightly! Math- Students will have nightly math homework, except on Fridays. Study spelling words! • Fast Facts • Homework is for a grade. If your child doesn’t turn it in on the day it is due, they will receive a Zero in the gradebook (unless absent). • Some students are still not doing homework. Students should know what their homework is nightly. • We are in need of gallon and quart size baggies. Teacher News Please send in Boxtops. For every 5-10 sent in, your child can earn an extra recess. Report Cards will be passed out at Parent-Teacher Conferences. We will also discuss your child’s progress during the first nine weeks.
