Online Drilling Permits Application Filing • If the field you are filing for has special field rules and you are applying for a horizontal well, all Rule Exceptions will be determined by the filer because the validation for the exceptions check has been taken off for that field. The system will also prompt you to do those checks so that you do not forget.

Online Drilling Permits Application Filing • If you are filing for a field that has special horizontal field rules and the wellbore profile is a vertical or directional well, you no longer have to do the manual check for Rule 37/38. The system will now read the regular field rules and deem the filing for whatever exception it may be. The field rules are always shown at the bottom of each Field Details Box.
