Peach’s Neet Feet Organizational Overview 2014
Each year, thousands of children living with disabilities or fighting serious illnesses seek help from non-profit organizations only to be turned away. They are too sick. They aren’t sick enough. Or they don’t have the “right” type of illness or disability. Peach’s Neet Feet is there to help.

Meet a Few PNF Fighters Diagnosed with Spina Bifida before he was born, Hunter has had more than 15 surgeries and can understand more medical terms than most adults. But he is like any other kid: he wants to have friends and as much fun as possible. Having a pair of Peach’s Neet Feet has helped him open up to other people when they ask about his shoes. He is also learning the importance of helping others and now sponsors shoes for other kids with his own money. Delmace was SO excited when he learned he’d be getting a pair of Peach’s Neet Feet shoes. He had a hard time narrowing down ideas of all the things he would have liked on the shoes, but finally decided what was most important to him right now were his “super heroes.” Heroes and having “super powers” are favorite topics of discussion for him. The shoes make Delmace feel special. They make him feel strong, like a super hero – and they make him feel like he has the power to help and inspire other kids like him. When PNF approved Layla’s application for shoes, it was such a symbolic event. To me, it was the fact that someone other than her doctors and my family acknowledge that her genetic disorder is serious and the issues that come along with it, not to mention the mass in her brain. You acknowledged the fact that Layla has been though so much and goes though so much on a daily basis. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for acknowledging my daughter’s disorder. She was just dealt these cards and we are all trying to help her with the hand she was dealt. She absolutely loves her shoes.

Meet Peach Madison is a young philanthropist striving to live a purposeful life, to inspire kindness with fierce passion and to lead by example through art. Madison “Peach” Steiner is the founder/president of the nonprofit, Peach’s Neet Feet. Peach’s Neet Feet is internationally known for putting compassion into action and brightening the faces of children who need it the most. Madison’s mission started with using art to create custom, hand painted shoes to celebrate children fighting cancer and living with disabilities. However, what began as a movement of pay it forward initiatives and selfless acts of giving, has grown to encompass what it means to live beyond your labels, no matter who you are. She has reached many different people through speaking at assemblies and connecting people through Peach’s Neet Feet. Madison is doing more than painting shoes, she is helping create a diverse community rooted in kindness. She strives to teach people about the idea of choosing your labels rather than accepting the ones given to you. This is especially impactful with those demographics that stand outside the norm and are consequently labeled or judged much more frequently.
