  1. An Invitation • To a JoyfuL • CeLebration • Of His • Faithfulness • Let God be • PRaised • And His • MerCies • RemEmbered • ……like a tree planted by • streams of water, • which yields its fruit in season…Ps 1:3

  2. This is your time. A time that You are applauded, Celebrated, Lifted up high.

  3. You have sown, And for better and for worse, It’s your time to reap. All those hard work, All the adolescent angst. Yet, You have hung on, And you did it!

  4. This is also the Lord’s time, for you to give him thanks, to renew your commitment, and to testify to His love.

  5. Because … Except for the Lord’s keeping you, You wouldn’t have come this far. And Except of His unremitting love, No one can boast much. So, this I am sure. At this moment, You are very proud, And you should be, Yet at the same time You are much humbled, And awed that the Lord’s hand has been upon you.

  6. As for us parents, it is our time too to let loose The string that held you so tight. The past eighteen years have been a long process Of preparation for this day. And we hope that you find in your heart, A quiet, confident whisper, “Mom and Dad, I am ready!”

  7. Is this the little boy at play? Is this the little girl I carried?

  8. I don't remember growing older, When did they?

  9. When did she get to be a beauty? When did he grow to be so tall? Wasn't it yesterday when they were small?

  10. Sunrise sunset, sunrise, sunset, Swiftly flow the days, Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers, Blossoming even as they gaze . . .

  11. Sunrise sunset, sunrise, sunset! Swiftly fly the years, One season following another, Laden with happiness and tears . . .

  12. What words of wisdom shall we give them?

  13. How can we help to ease their way?

  14. To face the world in truth and courage Day by day

  15. What trials and pains shall befall them, How will they fare away from home? Will they still be steadfast and faithful On their own?
