Data Limitations • ARF does not include data specific to DOs providing patient care by specialty. As a result, used patient care specific numbers for MDs in primary care, but not for DOs. • Intended to determine the percent of Physician Assistants in primary care, but ARF data on PAs in primary care is not recent (2003). • Intended to analyze ARF data for advanced practice nurses, but ARF data was not recent (CNMs 2003 and NPs 2001).
