What should be envisaged? • The PTC website • does not need to sell its activities or products • must not reach everyone, but should reach those who 1) are involved in PTC activities, 2) are interested in them, 3) „do not want to re-event the wheel“ for own activities and 4) want to save money and working energy • Should encourage new candidates to become a PTC
What should be envisaged? • Access to PTC offers • Website should offer easy access to courses by a list of courses open to everyone and by electronic registration facilities • Web-Archive • Website should include a web-archive which makes possible to trace activities • Website should grant access to all relevant documents and links • Catalyst for • standardisation, cooperation and harmonisation
What should be envisaged? • „Low level webpage“ • PTC website should avoid high technical standard in order to make access to it as easy and as quick as possible • Should rely on non classified data(password restriction, secure lines and suitable hardware/software automatically reduce the number of users) • Is immediately available
Cooperation Structure of the Website • Information on activities • Website should become an easily accessible portal for all information concerning PTC activities • Information on members • Website should give easy access to the PfP Training Centers • On-step entry to all PTC members • Internal / external communication • Exchange and harmonization of training activities
Where are we today? • First version of PfP TC website is ready and running • Easy to correspond with each other • Practional Approach / Help Function • Link into PRIME (MTI) • Missing Data on PfP TC and course offers • Clearing function?
To be decided • Need of active contributions of the PfP Training Centers • Need of a clearing house function regarding main documents, information on next activities, etc. • Maintenance by GCSP
