1. My Life By Ben Hall

2. Early life • I was born on the 9th of May 1837 in Maitland New South Wales. I grew up with parents who were ex convicts. I became a stockman with a man named John Macguire, and on the 29th of February I married a girl named Bridget Walsh.

3. Becoming a bushranger • It all started when I was wrongly accused for a hold up In Forbes. Where I was sentenced to jail for a month. They dropped the charges but the damage had already been done, Bridget left me for a wealthy stockman and my cattle had been stolen or gone astray.

4. Revenge • Itwas time to get my life back on track by becoming a bushranger, I created a gang with three other bushrangers by the names of Mickey Burke , John O’meally and John Gilbert. Together the four of us would steal off wealthy squatters and if they would not give us their goods we would shoot them.

5. Wanted • Once we became a household name there was a price on our head. The police wanted us dead or alive, so we did what we thought was best and split up.

6. My Death • On the 5th of May at dawn I slept in my tent unknown that a group of policemen were outside my tent waiting to shoot me. I went to go and check my horses when… bam I was shot before I knew it.They strapped onto my horse and road me down the street as if I was a big prize.
