Wehavebeenworkinghard to learn to balance checkbooksand be responsible, hard-workingcitizens! We are working in Unit 10: Using Data; Algebra Concepts and Skills Students are being introduced to pre-algebra concepts and skills. They will concentrate on solving problems using a pan-balance. Students are also working on generating input-output tables and linking the data in tables and coordinate grids. Science Literacy We are finishing up ourUniton Mixtures and Solutions. FifthGradershavehadexposure to manydifferentexperiments to understandtheseconcepts. Ask yourchildwhat he orshelearnedfromtheirscience tutor! Thefifthgraders are wrapping up their short stories and wewillbeginourunitonpoetrysoon. Wehavecompletedthe Mike Lupicaliteraturecirclebooks and are finishing up theyearwithanassortment of fictionbooks. Important Dates… Read At Home (RAH) and Write At Home (WAH) are due at theend of eachmonth.
