Introduction to Remploy • Sixty years experience of supporting disabled people gain and maintain employment • Last year we supported 7,500 people into mainstream employment with a range of disabilities • We have 3,000 disabled employees in our factory network of 54 sites • Our vocational rehabilitation business advises employers on retaining employees who have developed a disability or health condition • We specialise on supporting those with the most complex barriers
Access to our services We have a rapidly expanding network of city centre recruitment branches PlusField based delivery for some services including basing staff on 3rd party premises. ie colleges and Employers.
Yorkshire & Humberside Contract Remploy has won a key contract to deliver Education, Training and Employment to 7 prisons in the Y&H area. This contract is the first Offender contract Remploy has won and will help to develop a joined up and through the gate service. It will build on development work already underway by Remploy in Parc Prison, Bridgend.
Service Delivery Aims • Nationwide service delivery for offenders wherever they live • Link into other programmes such as Workstep, FND, work prep, Workstep • Link into many partner organisations to ensure barriers to employment such as accommodation and benefits are arranged by release date • End to end candidate journey, from custody to employment (pre or post release) and post employment support • Specialist Assessments: - Dyslexia Vocational Evaluation • Leverage existing 3,500 employer relationships • Access to disability statistics and on going outcome measures
