  3. First TVP transmission • On 25th October 1952 Polish tv tested the first programme, from that moment TVP until today has been emitting its own programme.

  12. EURO 2012 Poland - Ukraine Match Poland-Greece had the biggest amount of viewers. The match was seen by 16 234 000 spectators. It is the biggest record ever on Polish Sport TV

  13. Poland as the lider in watching TV all over the world Data from 2010 shows that only Americans are ahead of the Poles in watching TV. Average Pole in 2010 spent daily 244 minutes what is over 4 hours per day.

  15. Analog TV Digital TV • Lower resistance for disruptions • Only one programme on one frequency • Bigger emission cost • Better image quality (HD) and sound • Access to bigger amount of channels • Additional multimedia functions

  16. Ground digital TV From 31st July 2013 in Poland analog TV signal won’t be broadcasted anymore. Digital TV is fully „free”. It is consisting from High Definition (HD) programmes, however if you want to watch TV you need special digital decoder.
