  2. Caer- to fall Caigo Caemos Caes Caéis Cae Caen Las gotas de lluvia caen del cielo. The raindrops fall from the sky.

  3. Hacer- to make/to do Hago Hacemos Haces Hacéis Hace Hacen Hago la tarea cada noche. I do my homework every night.

  4. Poner- to put Pongo Ponemos Pones Ponéis Pone Ponen Pongo los libros en el estante. I put the books on the bookshelf.

  5. Salir- to go out Salgo Salimos Sales Salís Sale Salen La chica sale a comer. The girl is going out to eat.

  6. Traer- to bring Traigo Traemos Traes Traéis Trae Traen Siempre traigo la mochila a clase. I always bring my backpack to class.

  7. Decir- to say/to tell Digo Decimos Dices Decís Dice Dicen La niña dice muchas mentiras. The girl tells many lies.

  8. Venir- to come to/from Vengo Venimos Vienes Venís Viene Vienen Venimos de la casa a la escuela. We come from home to school.

  9. Tener- to have Tengo Tenemos Tienes Tenéis Tiene Tienen Tengo dieciséis años. I am (have) 16 years old.

  12. Really weird go verbs... • Some verbs have an extra letter in the “yo” form: traigo, caigo. Without the i they mean “I swallow” and “I poop.” • All -ir verbs whose stem ends in a vowel take an accent on the í in the nosotros form: oímos • e-->ie stem-changers do NOT stem-change in the “yo” form: tengo, vengo, but e-->i verbs do: digo • The verb oír is just messed up all over
