  3. Network • A network is an objet that is connected with others.

  4. Network PART OF A NETWORK • File Servers • Workstations • Network Interface Cards • Switches • Repeaters • Bridges • Routers

  5. FileService • The file service is the principla computer that contain a lot of RAM and control the rest.

  6. WorkStation • When all the computer are connected in the same network.

  7. Network interface cards • It is located is the computer box and his js to connect physical between network and the work station. • The 3 most common are Ethernet cards, Local Talk connectors, and Token Ring cards.

  8. Switch • The Switch give the connotation between cables from workstations, servers, and peripherals.

  9. Repeaters • The job of the repeaters is to connect 2 parts of a network cables.

  10. Bridges • The job is a bride is to make 2 a big network into 2 networks

  11. Routers • It conduce a network traffic to another network.

Adavantages of a networking • Share information: Is to share informatiom in other computer to other computers • Share hardware and software: All the computers are connected by cables and the information oassforthis to another. • Share internet:This makeeassy to communicate by a single internet connectation.

  13. Types of Networks • LAN: This link computer in a Workstation. • MAN: This network can cover the area of a city • WAN:It can coverlargerareaslike a country.
