  7. A truth…. • “People are anxious to improve their circumstances but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.” – James Allen

  8. The Law of Intentionality • Growing older is a function of nature; getting better is a function of intention. • The Law of Diminishing Intent: “the longer you wait to do something you should do now, the greater the odds that you will never actually do it.”

  9. “No wind favors (the person) who has no destined port” – Michel de Montaigne • “Life lived tomorrow will always be a day away from being realized.”

  14. The Law of Pain • “Good management of bad experiences leads to great growth.” • E + R = O • We are made in the P.R.O.C.E.S.S

  15. Consider this: • Your level of skill/mastery is revealed by the level of obstacle that you overcome. • “Every obstacle introduces a person to himself.” - Mike Murdock

  18. The Law of Trade-Offs • You have to give up to grow up • “People cling to an unsatisfactory way of life rather than change in order to get something better for fear of getting something worse.” – Eric Hoffer • “Your next level of excellence is hidden…”

  19. The Law of Environment • “Growth thrives in conducive surroundings” • “A big step toward success is taken when you refuse to be a captive of the environment you first find yourself in” • “You will think at the level of your exposure”

  20. Consider….. • What if your current challenge is a call to action, a rallying cry, that will prepare you for the next phase/level?

  21. When it’s all said and done… • The Law of the Lid remains inviolate! • “Success requires no explanations – Failure permits no alibis” • “What are you prepared to do?”Sean Connery as “Jim Malone” – The Untouchables
