intro • Steve Jobs is one of the most famous Entrepreneurs in the 21st century. He is the founder of Apple and created Pixar, which produced the worlds first computer animated movie, Toy Story. One can look at his life as the an example of what to be, he lived for what he loved (technology) and not for anybody else; Jobs encouraged people to live as individuals and not be trapped by Dogma. Unfortunately, he died recently October 5, 2011 due to cancer.
BACKGROUND INFO • Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California. His biological parents names are Joanne Schieble ,and Abdulfattah "John" Jandali, they were both University of Wisconsin graduate students. I believe they were both two getting started in their life, so they gave Steven up for adoption. His father was a Syrian political science professor and his mother worked as a speech therapist. It wasn’t until He hit the age 27 that he was able to find out information on his biological parents. • Steven was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs and named Steven Paul Jobs. His adopted mother worked as an accountant and father Paul was a Coast Guard veteran and machinist. Steven grew up in Mountain View within California's Silicon Valley. As a young boy Steve already started growing interest for technology while him and his father would work on electronics in the family garage. Paul would show his son how to take apart and reconstruct electronics, a hobby which led to Steve making his first personal computer in that same garage, with the help of his friend Steve Wozniak
Where he studied? • “College is the answer” what most young children, like Steve and including myself are told while growing up. But later on after actually getting there the same line that keeps reoccurring in your head that conflicts with it is “College isn’t for everybody”. I guess that line refers to Jobs because he never graduated, he dropped out. Steve made the decision to take up classes he enjoyed rather than what was required of him. In the end it all worked out for him, because the classes he chose to study helped feed him knowledge and helped him changed the world we’re living in today as far as technology wise.

Advertising Design and Graphic Arts (ADGA) • Steve Jobs accomplishments are appealing to ADGA because it provided great examples of what to build from. He paved the way for any ADGA major to never give up. If you have the right supply and dedication what you see In your mind you can actually make reality. Steve Jobs works showed that a device can be able to do so many things and still look good and appealing to the eye, which is what ADGA is all about. Building/inventing/creating something amazing.
Art and Graphic Desgign • All of Steve jobs designs and new inventions are related to Art and Graphic Design because we are the new future. Steve’s work set the building block to what the future holds. Art and graphic design not only are based on the visual, but the process to making something a design also plays a big roll. With technology getting better everyday and people bright ideas, there’s no telling what can be invented next, my prediction is somewhere far along in the future, there will be an iHOUSE, that’s cooks and cleans automatically.
