Demo Team Members and Role: Denso Econolite Demo Primary POC: Frank Provenzano, Econolite Demo Iteration Duration = 30 minutes Practice time: One week before show start, like to install intersection equipment at least 30-60 days before the show start. Arranged to use three (3) signalized intersections near the convention center parking lot to stage their demonstrations. Will provide own vehicles. Open to using coach buses to accommodate a larger audience. Safety Demo S4 – Econolite: Intersection Safety and Mobility • Demo takes place along international drive • Exact intersection location not determined at this time • Resources or data access not yet arranged • Network interconnectivity between intersections and conventions center and exhibit floor • City of Orlando and/or Florida DOT to close the signalized intersections and connected roadway for a couple of hours during the day to safely perform our IntelliDrive demonstrations • Demo Description: • Green Wave • Traffic data is collected by traffic controller from IntelliDrive-enabled vehicles, changes to the green light extensions • Displaying in-vehicle notifications, we can also post the optimal speed for driving through the corridor on green light • Crash Avoidance • Notifications for blind-spot inhabitants, forward and cross path collision warnings, and red light violations are combined to present a safe driving experience • Traffic Data Management (Traveler Information) Systems • Using Econolite’s Autoscope video vehicle detection system to determine traffic patterns and collect valuable traffic data

Demo M1: Sensys Networks: ATT Arterial Travel Times ITS WC attendees will observe live, real-time arterial travel time demonstrations along Orlando’s International Drive from monitors located in Sensys Networks’ Main Pavilion and Mobility Village booths. Live video feeds transmitted via CCTV will exhibit on-going changes to travel times based on precise volume and occupancy data gathered from Sensys Networks’ wireless sensor network deployed along the arterial. Sensys Networks ATT data will be included in Florida’s Sun Guide ™ Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and become part of FDOT's ITS infrastructure improvements in the region. This demo lasts about 5 minutes and will be ongoing throughout the day. Additionally, Sensys Networks will demonstrate its SNAPS 2.4 server – an advanced, remote network manager providing accurate, dependable, real-time system performance validation, and a variety of user-defined events and alerts. SNAPS’ user interface is now integrated with Google Maps for enhanced congestion mapping, providing traffic engineers with a real-time, real-world view of their roadways—and greatly improving responsiveness to changing traffic conditions. This demo lasts 10 minutes and will be ongoing throughout the day. ATT Proposed Route
Demo M2: GEWI/BMW LHW Local Hazard Warning Demo 2 Team Members and Role: GEWI will provide the software, vehicle and in-vehicle navigation devices to demonstrate LHW Additionally, GEWI is able to demonstrate additional applications, including Traffic Flow and Prediction, Parking, Weather, Congestion Travel Times, Public Transportation Information and/or Road Traffic Messages, if so desired, with access to data for same. Demo Primary POC: GEWI Demo Iteration Duration = 5 minutes Resources or data access not yet arranged - Service vehicle (i.e., RR, etc.) Wireless communication between LHW vehicle and in-vehicle navigation device in demo vehicle. Demo vehicle: Will provide. • Demo 2: Local Hazard Warning • Attendees will be able to see, via In-vehicle navigation devices, local hazard warnings that are specific to roadway, location and direction of travel. An alert will be given with enough advance notice for the driver to take appropriate measures, based on the type of alert. Attendees will have the option of riding along, or can see the alerts via monitor at pavillion. • Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) Integration with the data provided by FDOT via RSEs is also being considered to illustrate the value of the IntelliDrive modification to SunGuide. Demo M3: Iteris/Savari Bluetooth-Based Arterial Travel Times Demo 3 Team Members and Role: Iteris Savari provides the equipment and interface Demo Primary POC: Iteris/Savari Demo Iteration Duration = 5 minutes Resources or data access not yet arranged Local equipment will be deployed at the targeted intersections so will need access and space from maintaining agency to install a small enclosure on traffic signal poles. Participants will be introduced to the demonstration via a brief overview on a local monitor. A demonstration will then show the results of calculating travel times on the demonstration arterial (Sand Lake from Turkey Lake to Orange Avenue). Specifically, current average travel times based on recent data between the Blue tooth (BT) detection points, how this data compares with the same time the previous day and the same day of the week in earlier weeks. Also, they will see historical reports that show travel time patterns during the previous 30 days. The participants will also see how many BT reads occurred at individual locations, and how many successful pairings were detected at separate locations, providing a feel for the significance of the measurements. In addition, it will show them the potential of using this technology for transportation engineering purposes, e.g. Origin/Destination information, if the data is collected on a network basis (if 50% of the devices detected at location A do not show up at location B, they must have gone somewhere else - a more encompassing deployment would be able to trace relative vehicle flows through the network. Demo M4: Alcatel Lucent: Teleport Real-time Travel Time Management Demo 4 Team Members and Role: Alcatel-Lucent is providing all aspects of demonstration. An Alcatel-Lucent LTE truck will be located in the parking lot to provide backhaul of data to the village pavilion and to the exhibition booth. Demo Primary POC: Alcatel-Lucent Demo Iteration Duration = 5 minutes Resources or data access not yet arranged Pole or structure to install wireless devices (Bluetooth readers) Access to power for the installed devices as well as LTE equipment Section of the road in a parking lot to drive vehicles Access to LTE frequency for the purpose of the demo If LTE frequencies cannot be used then an alternate reliable high speed wireless network to connect to the server at the pavilion will be needed. Internet access needed A location in the parking lot to place the LTE truck Demo vehicles: Will provide as needed. • Attendees can ride in passenger vehicles and participate in the demonstration by carrying a personal cell phone or Bluetooth device. Attendees will be able to receive tweets of the traffic information, as well as interact with an enhanced GUI that will display rich features such as Travel Time Information based on Route Selection on Maps, among many others.
