Stratus Clouds Rain can fall from a Stratus cloud. The Stratus clouds are sometimes called ‘’high fogs’’. A Stratus cloud looks like a sheet across the sky.-Alexis
Cumulus Clouds Cumulus clouds look like cauliflower, except Cumulus clouds have flat bottoms. Rain or snow can come from Cumulus clouds. Cumulus clouds can mix with other clouds to form the Cumulonimbus clouds.-Katie

Meteorologist Meteorologists are people that study weather to keep people safe. An anemometer shows how fast the wind goes. The meteorologist often goes outside to check on the weather.-Dylan
Seasons In the summer, it is June and hot. The air is cooler and it is September in the fall. In the winter, it snows and it is December. In the spring, it is April and it rains.-Randle
Tornadoes Tornadoes can form from a thunderstorm. Tornadoes can kill people. May, June, and July are the worst months for Tornadoes. A stretch of land from Iowa to Texas is called tornado alley.-Skylyn
Tornadoes Tornadoes are strong and they can destroy buildings. Tornadoes can hurt cars and people. A tornado can last for 10 to 20 minutes.-Sam
