Unit Summary By playing environmentalist roles, students of 9th grade will collect, discuss, analyze the information on wildlife through direct interaction with the Wild Life Officers & Experts opinions through blog & wiki. They identify the cause for endangered species and compare the different measures taken by Indian Govt. with those of other nations. Based on the findings of their study, they will prepare a documentary to educate the local community and present it on their Annual Day and distributing the dos & don’ts list to them.
Objectives & Plan • To develop concern about the need to protect the bio-diversity of our country among students & community • Students to understand the wildlife – Major Species, their distribution, need for conservation & various measures • Students will collect, discuss, compare, analyze, organize, draw suggestions & present the various wildlife conservation measures.
