Born and brought up in Aliceville, Alabama, Britten Wilder claims that his dream of becoming a star began quite early. As a child, he idolized James Brown, and often tried to dress, dance, and sing like him. His admiration for Brown continued into his early teen years and so did his desire to perform before millions of screaming fans. In high school, he formed his own band called The Soul Rockers. Later, he moved on to another aspect of the entertainment business i.e. radio. Britten Wilder became interested in writing from an early age. His favorite subject was English, creative writing, and writing short stories. He loved his drama classes in high school and wrote many celebrated skits as well as plays that the school uses even today. One of Wilderu2019s biggest career milestones was being the youngest person ever employed at American Media Services.
