St Patrick’s Day in our school. On 17 March, 2008, in our school we celebrated St Patrick’s Day as a part of the Comenius Project. Everyone was wearing green clothes. We took part in the test about the culture of English-speaking countries, with special emphasis on St Patrick’s Day.

  2. On 17 March, 2008, in our school we celebrated St Patrick’s Day as a part of the Comenius Project

  3. Everyone was wearing green clothes

  4. We took part in the test about the culture of English-speaking countries, with special emphasis on St Patrick’s Day

  5. The school was decorated in shamrocks, snakes and other ornaments prepared by the students of our partner school from Northern Ireland

  6. We watched a computer presentation of Saint Patrick’s life and the Irish dance lesson performed by the children from Northern Ireland

  7. We are very glad to have the possibility to find out more about other countries’ culture, tradition and festivals, and also to share our own traditions and culture with our friends from Ireland
