  1. Transition to SIS Key Dates • Training environment – May 31st • Production Upgrade – June 1st – 3rd • Academic Advisement verification completed by 24th June • Pre-production build – June 20th - 30th • ‘Cut-over’ – July 8th – 18th

  2. Student Population Active students – as defined by: Programme attempt status - INACTIVE, ENROLLED, INTERMIT Nominated completion year > 2011 What is included? All current and historical data for an active programme attempt: module enrolments, module mark/grades, level mean marks, advanced standing, transfer history, HESA

  3. ‘Cut-over’ activity Friday 8th July ‘close of business’ • Blackboard taken off-line for system upgrade • SIS taken off-line for student record migration • OSS data copied to a migration master

  4. What needs to be done in advance of the ‘cut-over’? All post-PAB processing must be completed – • Mark entry/finalisation and programme completions • Nominated completion dates • Summer class and referral enrolments • Fee holds added to OSS 4th-8th July • Inform Student Zones of withdrawals and failures by EOB 1st July • Complete transfers If not – then students who are not identified in the student population on the 8th July willnotbe migrated.

Cut-over schedule • Classes migration • Student programme migration • Student class migration • Student special GPA migration • Student credit transfer migration • Student HESA migration 2008-2010 • External orgs migration • Student residency + entry qualifications migration • Research migration • Module selections migration

  6. Post migration activity • 9th July – OSS available for all activities relating to students active in the 2010/2011 academic year. • 18th July – SIS available to administrators • 18th July – Blackboard available with all modules and module offerings re-mapped to SIS course catalogue numbers • 8th August – SIS available to Students • w/c 12th September - All new marks/grades entered on OSS will be migrated to SIS.
