  1. 30’ Daily Worship ChallengeGuide

  2. What you Need • 30’ set aside just for you and God to praise and worship Him. • A Bible • A hymn book/Worship songs collection • A journal ( to jote down what we learn about God or what he may tell us during this time) "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  3. Agenda • Prayer to commit the moment to the Lord • Count God’s blessings – What he did or did not – • Praise God for each of these • Discover God’s Character via reading or from our daily experience • Worship the Lord for what he is • Pray to conclude "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  4. Starting prayer • Pray to commit the 30’ into the hands of God • Pray for the Holy Spirit leadership • Confess any sin or offense we might have committed • Request God’s strength to make it if we are tired or still feel as sleeping. • Confess how we are forgiven and have free access to God’s presence via Christ.(Eph 2 : 8) • Confess how our strength is renewed (Isaiah 40:31) • Simply surrender to God’s direction "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  5. Count God’s blessings • Have a look at your day, your life, you family, your job… • Acknowledge each of the Lord’s doing • His constant love • His protection aver all dangers • His provision in all regards • His faithfulness to all his promises • His grace and favor even when we did not care…etc • Make a list of each of these things the Lord has done in your life. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  6. Count God’s blessings • If you feel like there is nothing good in your life you can praise God for: • Praise Him for still being alive • Praise Him for being true and faithful to his word • Confess what the bible says about God and thanks him for that because even if the situation seems to claim that is not true, it does not change the fact that God is what he is presented to be in the Word • Your praise despite you having “ bad times ” show your trust in your father • Your praise despite you having “ bad times ” show your obedience to the word of God giving us the order to praise God (psalm 150). • Your praise despite you having “ bad times ” is a sacrifice of praise - Hebrew 13 : 15 • Just thank God for each of these things that made your day “bad” knowing that all things work for own good – Romans 8:28. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  7. Praise God for each of these • Now that you have a list of things God has done or has not done as you expected, • Be grateful and thank him for each of these . • You may alternate between topics/things God has done with a hymn/song that expresses your praise. • As the Holy spirit leads, simply flow and thank God for all he has done. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  8. Discover God’s Character • After thanking the Lord for all he has done you may proceed to what he actually is, because what he does is simply a consequence of what he is. • You may discover this through what he did.Ex:After blessing the Lord for he has delivered you, you then discover that He is the great deliverer and thus Worship him for Who he is – The deliverer • You may also read a psalm or a passage of revelation and from the passage get what character of God is displayed in that passage. • As God shows you who he is, worship and adore him for that following the example of the Revelation 7:11 and 11:16 • As the Holy spirit leads, simply flow and worship God for all he shows you to be. • Generally here it is no more “ You have done…but You are the wonderful/faithful….” "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  9. Worship God for who he is • For each of the character you have discovered or had the revelation of, simply adore the Lord. • It is relevant and important that all we say and tell the Lord is done right from our hearts, with sincerity and truth. • Do not tell the Lord how supreme and great he is, when you do not believe it • At this point many people will bow down or adopt a reverential position but this is not an instruction. If you do not feel as bowing, do not bow. • Generally here it is no more “ You have done…but You are the wonderful/faithful….” • You may alternate here too between your personal expression of God’s greatness and borrowing the words of a song or two that says just what you want to tell the father. • As the Holy spirit leads, simply flow and worship God for all he shows you to be. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  10. Flow for him • Express yourself freely, sincerely and as much/as long as you feel like. • You may also stop for a while and listen to God – as he leads you. • At times you can also simply stand silently in awe of him, in complete adoration • Say it all to the full satisfaction until you feel like all you have to say has been expressed to the father • If the Holy spirit leads you into worshiping God in spirit, do and let it flow until you are ok and have said all was in your heart. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  11. Concluding Prayer • When you have said it all, thank God for the moment. • Bless him for all he has done, said and thought you during this time • Commit to him the next 30’ worship moment RDV • Commit to him your day/night… and VOILA "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  12. Notes • If you sing a song or two for each step • If you take time to list what God has done and what he is • If you take time to read the word • If you do all of this really meaning all you say and confess • If you do each step not as a task you are obliged to do but like in a quality moment with your loved one • Before you realize, more than 30’ would have gone away and you will come out of that with strength renew, with encouragement and a visible trace of being in God’s presence. Psalm 22: 3/4 "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

  13. Conclusion • I Pray that God make this challenge work for you. • I Pray that this guide helps you • I Trust the Lord to bless and do something new in your life each time you come just to worship him during this challenge. • Remain richly favored and blessed in his presence!!! "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6
