Making nouns and adjectives plural. To make a noun or adjective plural. If it ends in a vowel , add –s to make it plural. Chico  Chico s If it ends in a consonant , add – es to make it plural. Gris  Gris es If it ends in a –z , change the z to a c and add – es .
