  3. About Sams School • The Joseph Sams School is dedicated to the education and life skills development of children who are intellectually, physically or developmentally challenged.

  4. About Sams School • 501 C (3) Non–Profit Organization • In Operation More Than 20 Years • No Government Funding • Private Funds Only Cover Operating Costs • 2 Large, 2 Small fundraisers Annually • Highly Qualified, Dedicated and Compassionate Staff

  5. About Sams School • 2:1 or 3:1 Teacher-Student Ratio • No Geographic Boundaries for Attendance • Accredited by Georgia Accrediting Commission • Serves children 18-months through 15 yrs. w/mild to severe intellectual, physical or diagnosed developmental disabilities

  6. Low Teacher-Student Ratio (2-1 or 3-1) Means Need For Many Trained, Motivated Teachers and Parapros – It is Also the Secret to Success For the Children of Sam’s School

  7. The Request • $50,000 Annually To Fund Staff Health Benefits • Administrative Staff, Teachers, Parapros • Current and Future • Enable Sams to Retain Trained Staff, continue with the miracles • If Approved, Competitive Process to Obtain Best Coverage
