Kick-off Visit from Hokie Bird Hokie Bird reads “Hello Hokie Bird” Introduce Hokie Bird’s Challenge – to get from the Duck Pond to the stadium before the game on November 21st
Hokie Passport Your Personal Reading Log 6 Passports will be filled out – one passport per book read Passport must be signed by your parent/teacher Passport must be stamped by Customs (Librarian) You will receive a sticker to put on your bookmark

Bookmarks Kept in Library PK-2nd must read/listen to 6 books 3rd-5th must read 6 books from different genres (Book lists available in library) Get a sticker to attach to bookmark for each book that is read and logged

Celebration Hokie Bird will help us celebrate on November 23rd Hokie Bird will present Bookmarks/Pencils/Prizes Hokie Bird will draw 5 names and present “Hello Hokie Bird” books to the winners
