  2. The car horn will honk when you blow it.

  3. As I walked through the forest, I could hear the crickets chirping loudly.

  4. My baby brother loves to splash water when he is in his swimming pool.

  5. The water was dripping all night because I did not turn the faucet off tightly.

  6. I love the lions at the zoo, especially when they roar.

  7. Do not forget to zip your jacket before going out in the cold!

  8. The floor would creak as we walked through the old, haunted house.

  9. My mother gets annoyed when I slurp my drink through a straw.

  10. When my sister heard the loud buzz, she knew a bee was close.

  11. As soon as we made it home from the long day of shopping, we plopped on the couch.

  12. “Ding-dong,” the doorbell echoed throughout the house.

  13. The pigs on the farm squeal.

  14. The silverware will clatter if it is dropped on the floor.

  15. The ducks say “quack” as they swim across the pond.

  16. The chicken began to cluck as it ran from the farmer.

  17. The orange drink began to fizz when I poured it into my glass.

  18. My aunt was worried I was going to crack the eggs.

  19. We heard the zap of the lightning when it hit the ground.

  20. I heard my pants rip and didn’t know what to do.

  21. I froze when I heard the snake hiss at me.
